Forever grateful Gigi is okay
Due to Closed Pyomerta infection, Gigi lost her litter and no longer is able to have puppies. The severity and risk of her life, with this infection, deamed it 100% NECESSARY to have her spayed. Thank goodness we caught this at her pregnancy ultrasound! Other than her lack of interest in food, which mimics pregnancy symptoms, there was no way to know she had developed closed Pyometra. Blood tests determined a high level of white blood cells present, along with the ultrasound, gave us the knowledge to know this was an “Emergency” situation. Delaying the surgery could risk Gigi’s life with the potential of ruptured uterine horns, internal bleeding, and deadly infection throughout her body. Our first priority has always been Gigi and her health, so there was no question this surgery was imminent, or we risked losing our sweetheart.

Gigi’s Final Litter of Puppies
Gigi and Sammy were bred and now we wait for the ultrasound date to confirm pregnancy! If successful, this will be Gigi’s final litter of puppies…and I promise you don’t want to miss out on your very own Gigi puppy! Due date will be November 7, 2023, if confirmed pregnant! We are so excited!!
Both Gigi and Sammy have all OFA health clearances and are DNA Clear! They Both possess phenomenal, most desirable temperaments! We expect this pairing will produce the most beautiful, healthy, intelligent, offspring!

gigi’s 2nd Litter of Puppies
We welcomed Gigi’s 2nd litter of 7 puppies on July 6, 2022. Both Momma Gigi and her 4 boys and 3 girls are doing very well!! Gigi continues to show her excellent mothering skills with attentiveness to her puppies and their well being! We couldn't be happier with the outcome of pairing Gigi with Moondust Tarquin.
